I've raised £3590 to climbing Machu Picchu to raise money for Mind

*enormous deep breath*
Hi friends, I’m doing a thing…
So depression and anxiety have been a fairly constant presence since I was about 16, they have affected my friendships, relationships, living situation and basically every part of my life you can think of.
Around a year ago I was gearing up to hit what I affectionately refer to as “rock bottom” during which I lost a fair few friends and came about *this* close to losing my career. I’m no longer in that place but one of the resources I found invaluable during that point were those provided by Mind.
Which leads me to the point - next March, I will be trekking Machu Picchu in Peru to raise money for the fantastic people at Mind. This is not only an opportunity to raise some killer funds for a fantastic and irreplaceable organisation, but also a great physical challenge for me (person who gets out of breath climbing a flight of stairs and hasn’t been to a gym in over a year). I’m (selfishly) hoping to mark the anniversary of the time in my life when getting out of bed was considered a massive achievement by standing on one of the new seven wonders of the world.
So if anyone feels like donating, or simply clicking share to raise support, it would mean the world to me - the resources you are donating to help so many in so many ways. Link incoming:
TDLR: mental health is important. I’m climbing some mountains. Please assist.
