Our IVF journey began in May 2015. My husband and I decided we were finally ready to complete our family, my husband has two children from a previous relationship who I love dearly. We were both excited but extremely nervous at the same time.
We began our IVF with a positive outlook and thought that everything would be ok. We went through three rounds of treatment to which had resulted in negative pregnancy tests, we were truly heartbroken each time we looked at the test and saw only one blue line.
We finally decided to have another try as we still had 5 healthy frozen embryos. We constantly had visions of having a baby of our own and with myself working two jobs and my husband working hard we had saved enough money to have another frozen embryo transfer. Finally the end of our “two week wait” was over and we did a pregnancy test, In amazement it was positive, we were over the moon and so emotional, but sadly the day before my six week scan we lost our baby which devastated us and our family. We were back to the beginning again.
It's now been 8 months since our miscarriage and we are eager to have our final frozen embryo transfer, we have 3 healthy embryos left which is our last chance of becoming parents together, we have already spent in excess of £30.000 and we are looking for help from the kindness and generosity that people have to help us make our dream come true to complete our family.
