For the population I serve (Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan, but also some services right across South Wales) my job is to work with people & organisations to help people & their families be as healthy as they can be, regardless of means, and with a particular focus on people & families who need it most. People want the best for their own & their families' health. My job includes helping to make it to be easy to be healthy at home & in our local communities, at play, at school & in work. Its also about making healthcare the best it can be.

I'm supporting my boss, Len Richards, do an extraordinary thing: he will walk the length of Offa's dyke - 177 miles- in 10 days, with lots of people joining him, to raise money for www.cardiffandvaleuhbcharity.org , as well as for a great international cause, www.improvingchances.org , which focuses on helping mothers & children stay healthy. Both of these charities will support people being healthy & will add that bit extra to make things easier for people to stay healthy & for healthcare services to make things more comfortable for people receiving services. I'll be walking 14 miles from Kington to Hay on Wye to support Len & these worthy charities. Id be grateful for any support you could give, many thanks.
