I've raised £3000 to To help the ALB! Fiona is taking part in the 3 peaks challenge to raise vital funds for Colchesters Anti Loo Roll Brigade

I will be taking part in the 3 peaks challenge in August to raise money for the Anti Loo Roll Brigade. This involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. The event is self funded so all money will go to the Anti Loo Roll Brigade.
The ALB is a community organisation who help the most vulnerable in our community and beyond.
It was founded by Peter Dutch in Lockdown to help those in Colchester who needed it most at the time, and it has grown into a huge and much needed community support in our City.
Peter, his wife and their army of volunteers work tirelessly to make a difference to others.
Here are a few of the ways in which they have helped and continue to help
Sent aid to Ukraine and helped the Ukranian community as they arrived in Colchester. They take referrals from domestic abuse charities, police, social services, adult social care, hospital discharge and local charities providing goods and support to those in need. The have helped fund the fuel poverty scheme. Last year they built an amazing community centre where they provide respite, and various sessions including discos for young adults with additional needs, benefit and pip workshops, advice and sports sessions for home educated children and they help local veterans.
They are also in the process of setting up and applying for funding for a therapy centre where they will be offering free therapy in 3 areas: paediatric physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and counselling for children whove been affected by traumatic experiences.
I've got to know Peter over the past year and am in awe of what he and his team achieve so I would love to help support the ALB, so please spare some money if you can.
