my name is Dean Cunningham, i'm 16 from catterick in north yorkshire. i have been a fire cadet for close to 2 years! and plan on joining the service as soon as i am old enough. i am also a cyclist and member of Richmond Cycling club (RCC)

I decided that for my last year in fire cadets, I wanted to leave a lasting positive impact on the organisation, the young people lucky enough to be in it, and the firefighters that are aided by the firefighter's charity every single day

so i will be riding a 135km route riding with a team of experienced cyclists to a large selection of rural fire stations local to me so i can raise as much money as possible for these amazing causes

I organised this event almost entirely myself however I did require assistance from Dean Mque (chairman of Richmond cycling club) and my parents for the route.
