Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
You can be a life saver without ever needing to open a first aid kit. Supporting CFAC helps us put our first aid team in schools and equip volunteers!
Defibrillators can save lives. When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, the chance of survival falls by 10% every minute without action. However, with CPR and the use of a defibrillator within 3 minutes, the chance of survival could be as high as 70%.
In England the rate of survival to discharge for the 28,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests where the emergency medical services attempted resuscitation in 2013 was 8.6%.
We want to make sure we have a defibrillator available when it’s needed most. As a first aid charity, we’re launching a fundraising appeal asking people to help raise money for more defibrillators, which our volunteers will use to treat people who have suffered a cardiac arrest.
How your donation saves lives
£10 The price of a takeaway for two allows us to equip someone with the first aid skills to save a life.
£27 The price of a pair of trainers can provide a volunteer with the kit they need to save a life.
£60 The price of a weekly shopping could help us save a person in a cardiac arrest.
PLEASE REMEMBER ANY DONATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL!!!
