Story

To celebrate the 10th and final Twomey Remorial Weekend I aim to be the first Pirate to climb Mount Everest* in memory of Con, Baba Oisin and Little Lady who tragically lost their lives in a car crash in Torquay in July 2012.

My cousin Elber was the sole survivor of that fateful day and has raised over €175,000 for various charities in the UK and Ireland since the first Twomey Family Remorial weekend in June 2014.

*I am planning to climb 45,000 steps to the summit of Mt Everest but the Brixham version of “Shinners Steps” 190 steps, 232 times (obviously dressed as a Pirate, everything’s better when you’re dressed as a Pirate)

Please come along and climb with us on Saturday and Sunday June 10th & 11th from 10am each day and help raise funds for Torbay Hospital.
