On a tuesday to Saturday evening leeds city centre is the meeting place for hundreds of students who drink, may use drugs and many will need medical assistance. However not all need an ambulance. Which is why we have decided to try set up a city centre rapid response team to be first on scene to major incidents or to resolve minor incidents. All members will be trained in emergency advanced first aid and will wlak the streets of leeds answering radio calls from around the city centre. However to create this funding is needed to pay for equiptment, uniforms and get a start on the team. We would love your support to create this which would be a first in leeds and possibly first up north. To have a dedicate dvoluntary first aid team within a city centre. Lets make this happen.
