This mission is deeply personal to us. A beloved member of the First Thought family now relies on the vital care and support provided by these incredible organisations following life-changing news.

Both charities play a critical role in helping children face serious medical challenges—offering world-class treatment, emotional and psychological support, and care for families during their most difficult moments.

Any money raised will be split equally between the two chosen charities. We are committed to giving back and standing alongside those who stand by our children. Together, we can make a difference.

Bristol Children’s Hospital (part of University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust Charity – also known as The Grand Appeal)

Bristol Children’s Hospital is one of the UK’s leading children’s hospitals, providing specialist care for children across the South West and beyond. The hospital treats a wide range of complex conditions, from cardiac and neurological issues to trauma and rare diseases. Fundraising for the hospital is largely led by The Grand Appeal, which raises money to fund pioneering medical equipment, family accommodation, child-friendly environments, and ground-breaking research. It also supports services like music therapy and arts to help make the hospital experience less frightening for children and families.
