Story

Liam Proudlock will be running the Henley 10k with his 25-year-old son, Billy and Billy’s girlfriend Kat. Liam is proud to be raising money for FISH, which his mother, Anne uses for essential shopping trips and medical appointments. See below on how you can donate and help raise money for FISH.

Liam is a local lad, who attended schools in Sonning Common and Henley. He will be 56 years old when the 10k run happens, on the 13th October (start time 9.30am). He and his wife Tracey, have two sons, Billy 25 and Tom 23 and run their own business in designing/construction management.

The run starts and finishes at Henley Rugby Club, Dry Leas, Marlow Road, Henley on Thames, Oxon, RG9 2JA for anyone wishing to support the effort! Team Proudlock will run for 6.2 miles around the wonderful countryside of Henley on Thames including Ice House Lane, known locally as 'Heartbreak Hill'.

Liam’s mother (or “Mam” from her Hartlepool connections and Anne to her friends), will be celebrating her 80th birthday this summer and uses the FISH bus as her only transport.

Anne Proudlock had her 80th Birthday this summer. Anne is a regular user of the FISH bus and had a number of friends she'd met on the bus at her party!

The FISH is extremely grateful to Liam for his generosity of time and effort to help support other people, not only his 'Mam' with transportation.
