THE GIFT OF FISH

Here are some photos for our project (Scottish Football Supporters Association) for the Chizumulo Island Football Clubs working with our partners Play Soccer Malawi.

We are planning to fundraise to allow Play Soccer Malawi to build a boat that they can use to catch fish that can then be sold at market. The money generated will allow for the development of community football programmes which will focus on health and well-being issues as well as basic football lessons for boys and girls. This fantastic sustainable way to build a really important programme using the power of football to do good!

The money used will act as seed capital to drive this and then other community football projects in one of Africa’s poorest countries. Each penny and pound will be working hard for years to come! More on or work here https://scottishfsa.org/malawi/

We hope to have the boat built during the Christmas Period and launch it in early 2022!
