Story

Little William Seymour of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, suffers with a very rare form of epilepsy. His parents need to make vital alterations at home to aid his care , bathing and wellbeing. He currently has no winch or downstairs bathroom and his carers are no longer able to lift him for health and safety reasons , so making the essentials hard work for William's parents. Personal Trainer Lisa Beards and her clients at Shropshire fitness camp 'FIT FARM' are joining the efforts of Team Will to help raise funds for Willam's parents to make these vital changes. FIT FARM is based at the beautiful Shaw Farm Stud in Shropshire, home of the world class showjumpers and racehorses belonging to the Hales family. The family have enjoyed success in many grade 1 & 2 races including 3 Queen Mother Chase wins and taking the trophy in 2012's Grand National with the fabulous Neptune Collonges. Lisa Beards & Lisa Hales have totalled up the distances of all of these wins and converted them into miles. The result.... 52 miles. The aim of this charity event group is to walk a total of 52 miles carrying showjump poles around the farm's training canter track. 4 laps = 1 mile. 208 laps to be walked in all. Walkers will take part in pairs with a pole between them. Social distancing wiĺl be adhered to and all safety measures taken in these fabulous 100 acre grounds.
