Story

TJ Transport Ltd have submitted a planning application for the extraction of 230,000 tonnes of soft sand and restoration through backfilling with up to 435,000 tonnes of inert waste/materials over a period of 6 years.

Summary Guide of Key Objection Points (Includes link to submit Objections)

The proposed extraction at Five Oaks Farm in Shedfield, Hampshire will cause unjustified destruction of the countryside surrounding the beautiful village of Shedfield which borders the Southdowns National Park. It will also significantly increase HGV traffic and pollution impacting the local residents of Shedfield and nearby villages of Wickham, Waltham Chase and Bishops Waltham.

We are raising funds to raise awareness and assist the local community in stopping this application gaining approval.

Shedfield Community Group thank you for any donations and ask you to raise your own objection to Hampshire County Council at the link above.
