Five Villages First Responders is a Community First Responder team based in Misterton, North Nottinghamshire. We are volunteers trained by the Ambulance Service who respond to life threatening emergencies in Misterton and surrounding rural villages in North Nottinghamshire to provide immediate care prior to the arrival of the Ambulance. We currently have a team of 14 volunteers. The team launched in April 2004 and has continued to serve our communities for the last 17 years.

To fully equip a new CFR volunteer with all the life saving equipment they require, including a defibrillator, it costs in the region of £2,000. We are continually expanding the team to give greater coverage and availability across the villages we serve, and therefore all donations will help us to continue the work we do. Our team has also installed 19 community defibrillators (defibrillators in cabinets ready to be used by the public if needed) in villages across North Nottinghamshire. We also maintain and replace pads and batteries in many of these defibrillators through our fund raising efforts.
