I've raised £7000 to help raise funds for Fiveway's new sensory playground.

Fiveways are currently raising funds for an all inclusive play area. The school caters to 78 Pupils (aged 4-19 years) all with severe learning difficulties. Many of the children have complex needs ranging from physical difficulties, sensory needs and behavioural difficulties. At the moment, the school has no adequate play area. The old equipment had to be condemn and has been removed.
Play and movement are essential aspects of learning. Those children who are confined to wheelchairs have little or no opportunities to experience movement and height to spin rock or swing. Others may not require a wheelchair but have mobility, balance and co-ordination problems. Movement enables our children to understand about position and movement without looking at their limbs .
We want to stimulate the sensory system contributing to balance , coordination and spacial awareness.
With this in mind, we have designed an inclusive playground to help the children play, grow and develop.
Friends and Family of Fiveways are hoping to raise enough money to contribute a large, square trampoline to the play area. The sooner we raise the funds the sooner our children can have a safe, fun and educational space to play.
Thank you for all your support.
