I've raised £3000 to To pay for Fitzpatrick Referrals investigation and MRI for Ziggy (I year old Shihtzu) to start process to fix his back legs so he can walk

"My name is Ziggy, my Mummy calls me Ziggy wig!! I love my home and my cuddles especially my squeaky toy. I am actually extremely sociable, I live by a river next to a castle, and my favourite activity is meeting all my friends! However, it is most embarrassing as I have to be carried most of the time on our walks because my legs won't work properly! I would like to be able to walk and run properly like my other friends, but my Mummy says that to fix my problem is very expensive, like many lifetimes of biscuits!! So if you can I would be extremely grateful for your support"
Ziggy is such a loving little dog, and very young still under 2 years old. I did take out insurance more than a year ago paying nearly 30 pounds a month, but sadly the insurance company have turned us down! The reason they gave was due to a vets visit when Ziggy was 4 months old, before I took out the insurance. And the vet noted that Ziggy was a bit wobbly. But they did say puppies are often clumsy and it was nothing to worry about. However, the insurance company noted this and said that his condition was there before I took out the insurance policy. So my friend suggested trying a campaign as Ziggy is now getting worse and I fear for his future.
My vets have referred Ziggy to the Super Vets (from TV) Fitzpatrick Referrals in Sussex, and they have quoted me for the MRI and consultation will be anything between 2000 and 3000 pounds. They didn't give me a specific amount as all depends on the results of the MRI. So so I thought it best to start this campaign in 2 stages, the first stage to see what can be done. Any support through JustGiving.com will be very much appreciated! I will start a Ziggy page on Facebook so everyone can follow his progress. Thank you so much Clare
