Weʼre raising £2,000 to help raise money for a community arts group. To allow us to involve local schools/hospitals in our production and ensure the show can go on!

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Leeds Arts Centre is an amateur theatre group which presents a wide variety of plays at the Carriageworks Theatre on Millennium Square in Leeds. We are a community group and look to involve as many as we can in our productions.
All our members volunteer their time and energy to make our plays happen. But, as you might expect, this comes at a cost.
In order to successfully put on a production of our upcoming show: The Flint Street Nativity. We're looking for support from you.
Your donation will not only help cover the cost of theatre and room hire/props and costumes for our group but also allow us to reach out to the community in a way that is otherwise impossible. Being a show about children, their issues and their lives at primary school we're keen to involve not only local schools in our production but also to reach out to children's hospitals and other charitable organisations. We are also working on an outreach programme that would allow us to show our production to those who lack the health or mobility to come to our theatre to watch.
Your donations will allow us to do all of this.
We've set an ambitious target but we're sure that together we can achieve it. Our production is scheduled for w/c 5th November 2018, we're already working hard on making this a reality.
Donating can be an intimidating thing we know. So we're pleased to be able to offer you the following gentle encouragement:
£10 Donation - your name will appear on our "wall of thanks" in the Flint Street programme and Leeds Arts Centre website.
£20 Donation - in addition to appearing in our programme and Leeds Arts Centre website we will also post you our very own Flint Street Nativity Mug.

About the fundraiser
I began my amateur acting career four years ago with the LAC. They've been a second family to me over that time. I've learnt a huge amount and have met a tonne of great people. I'm finally in a position to give something back to this great community group. I hope you can help me!
