Story
We are raising £2,500 for a volunteering trip to Eileen Ngochoch School based in a remote village - Nakuru, Kenya. We will be renovating classrooms to provide a safer learning environment, assisting with lessons and providing essential sanitary products which are not currently available to them. Your donations will help to provide free school meals for underprivileged children who are facing food poverty.
We are doing this by walking a marathon a week for 4 weeks which totals to 100 miles. 100 miles is the distance from the school to Nairobi (the capital of Kenya). We will be walking 4 Northumberland marathon routes in August:
. Kielder waterside Marathon
. Hadrians wall
. Druridge Bay Coastal walk
. Northumberland Mighty hike
