4 years ago when Lauren & I were in India we met 2 women in Pushkar who gave Lauren henna. We instantly started speaking about life and where they live based on the cast system in India stopping them being within main society.

They invited us to their village of tent homes and made us food, we made music and shared stories. Guti had left an abusive marriage and landed in Pushkar and Bimla (who was the main lady we connected with) had taken her in. She was sleeping on the floor with 4 children and we decided to buy her the materials for her own tent that we helped build.

4 years later we have returned and were so happy to find them again and see that Bimla now lives in a small concrete home. Guti is still in a tent and often feels lonely and scared without Bimla by her side and we would love to raise the money to buy resources to build a house of her own.

They are warm, kind and good spirtied ladies and we want the very best for them. Thank you for any help you can give!
