I've raised £1000 to give to The Plastic Tide, a brilliant project fighting the rising tide of plastics around the world. I am running the London Marathon!

The Plastic Tide is a project working to harness cutting edge drone and algorithm technology to create an open source map of the plastic pollution problem, in the UK and beyond. Please help me raise money to help them fight the rising tide of plastics around the world by sponsoring me to run the London Marathon on Sunday April 22nd!

My photo is from our amazing whole school Summer Art Exhibition 2017. All the children made pieces of art out of plastic rubbish they brought in and everyone in the school pledged to use less of it in everyday life. The picture is of Year 2's "Whish" (they couldn't decide between calling it a Whale or a Fish) which was inspired by the news that over 70% of fish in our oceans have consumed plastic. It is still hanging from our ceiling to remind us of the problem and perhaps inspire their brilliant minds to invent some future solutions.
