I've raised £700 to Help fund my participation in the Ghanaian Akenkan project

In July, I will be travelling to Ghana for three weeks as part of the Akenkan Project which aims to increase literacy and access to storybooks in schools in rural Ghana. I will be part of a team setting up a week-long summer school and becoming a teacher to classes of Ghanaian children. The team I am going with and I have written, illustrated and printed a series of bespoke storybooks for Ghanaian children and we will be taking hundreds of these to poorly-resourced schools.
I am hoping to raise £700 towards the cost of this by walking the Thames Path from Henley to London (just over 50 miles), which we plan to do over 2-3 days during half term. As we are lucky enough to be visiting other parts of Ghana after our time with the project, the remainder of my overall visit to Ghana is being donated by my generous parents.
I would be grateful for any support you can give me. Please click on the link below to see pictures of the marvellous work done by the Akenkan project.
Thank you! Flora x
