Thank you again for all your support. We wanted to provide an update of the work we have completed so far. Our team visited São Nicolau in November 2019, donating firefighting equipment and training local firefighters. We are now planning our next trip - sending a fire appliance to São Nicolau! The team will be fundraising during 2020 to support the next phase of the project. I wanted to say thanks for all your support so far – it means a lot to us! Also, here is a very brief summary of the work we plan to do with the Fire Service in São Nicolau: • Build on the operational capacity of the fire service including firefighting and rescue techniques • Donate firefighting equipment • Improve the first aid capacities within the fire service • Raise awareness of fire risks and risks associated to other emergencies We will be completing more fundraising over the next few months to help us reach our final target!
