Weʼve raised £10 to purchase a third defibrillator. We have just held the fourth Rovi Jongco fundraising badminton tournament. This page is to further the fund!

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

This is the fourth year that we have run the Rovi Jongco fundraising badminton tournament. To date we have purchased two defibrillators (which cost around £1,000 each), which are installed in halls where badminton is played. Our aim is to carry on Rovi's memory by installing as many as we can. One day one of these defibrillators could save the life of someone else. Badminton was Rovi's sport and a big part of his life and I'm sure he would appreciate what we are trying to do. Thank you to all of those of you who managed to come to the actual tournament this year (which was held on the 22nd of June). This "Just Giving" page has been set up, so that those unable to attend in person can support the effort financially.

So far we have raised just shy of £600 from this years tournament, including what has been donated on here. The more we raise, the more defibrillators we can get and fit ASAP!
