Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Sophie McLaughlin and Catrin Sian Soons have been playing together since primary school as promising wind-players from Carmarthenshire. Their hard work has led to successful applications to the National Youth Orchestra of Wales for the third year running in 2018 and both are excited to be conducted once again by the world-renowned Maestro Carlo Rizzi, this summer.
Unfortunately, building and sustaining a musical career is an expensive venture, so Catrin and Sophie have decided to organise this concert in order to fundraise towards the cost of attending the course and having the privilege of representing Carmarthenshire on a national level.
If you came here from the livestream of our concert, then we hope you enjoyed the performance and thank you kindly for choosing to help our cause further by donating.
Mae Sophie McLaughlin a Catrin Sian Soons, y ddau unawdydd byddech chi’n clywed heno, wedi bod yn chwarae gyda'i gilydd ers ysgol gynradd fel chwaraewyr offerynnau chwyth addawol o Sir Gaerfyrddin. Mae eu gwaith caled wedi arwain at geisiadau llwyddiannus i’r Gerddorfa Genedlaethol Ieuenctid Cymru am y trydydd tro yn 2018 ac mae’r ddwy yn edrych ymlaen at gael ei harwain unwaith eto gan yr arweinydd byd-enwog, Maestro Carlo Rizzi, yn yr haf.
Yn anffodus, mae adeiladu a chynnal gyrfa gerddorol yn fenter ddrud iawn, felly mae Catrin a Sophie wedi dewis trefnu ‘r cyngerdd yma er mwyn codi arian tuag at gost mynychu’r cwrs ac i gael y fraint o gynrychioli Sir Gaerfyrddin ar lefel genedlaethol eto.
Os daethoch chi o'r livestream o ein cyngerdd, rydym ni'n gobeithio eich bod wedi mwynhau'r perfformiad ac yn ddiolchgar iawn i chi am ddod yma i gefnogi ni bellach trwy roddi.
