Story
I am raising money and awareness in memory of my daughter's friend Thomas Davidson Hetherington aged 15. Deeply loved by his family and friends, he took his own life sadly because he couldn't cope with circumstances within some friendships. Laila will often talk about Thomas and it always brings a smile and laugh to her face. He was a funny, talented young man,who is missed every day by her, and his other close friends and family.
I am running all my events this year in Thomas' memory. Donations given here will then go to Rich and Gill (his parents) or to the charity that they are carefully considering, whichever is appropriate. It will be a suicide awareness/teenage suicide prevention Charity, bringing awareness and support to young people and hopefully prevent other young lives to be needlessly taken.

8 months agoSolo Marathon arranged since i missed Kielder due to covid😢. Sunday October 9th i run with 26 memories of Thomas... there are many more than this that you all carry and i hope you will share them on Sunday... with one another or on social media. Lets remember Thomas.🥰💕

8 months agoLast long training which i had to break up into lots of smaller runs due to life getting in my way!. Total just under 26miles on Tuesday and Wednesday although a lot more mileage was done that i didn't record. Feet up last night and recovery drink was amazing afterwards!! I'm ready as i can be for Kielder Marathon. Some of my runs over the past year had been pre booked a while back....this one is specifically for Thomas.... 26 memories will be carried for his family, and friends if they wish. He will be with me every step. 💕❤️ TDH.
