Dear Friends and collegues! We are off to Ukraine again in a weeks time - I'm done with my exams and can resume contributing to a great cause of reforming and delivering medical teaching in my home country! I hope you can help me raise some funds to boost the start of making local models for Surgical Management of Difficult Airway ( Front Of Neck Access).

It's an anaesthetic nightmare to find yourslef in a situation, when you can't intubate and can't ventilate a patient - every second counts and by depriving the brain of oxigen it might be too late to bring the patient back! It is proven that only extensive training and drilling leads to a favourable outcome for the patient!

I have recently found myslef in the same difficult scenario and I HONESTLY believe that only due to an amazing teaching and hands on training I have been able to reach for a scalpel and perform in the most stressful of the scenarios I've ever been! I want to be able to provide the same level of teaching in Ukraine! That's why with the helpful guidance of Dr Willers and enthusiastic engeneers in Ukraine - we have been able to create an airway teaching model - for FONA training, that would be sustainable in Ukraine! One model would only cost 20£ and we would be able to provide teaching and training for Ukrainian specialists! It would SAVE LIVES and improve patient safety!

Please help me kick start this project, so we can pitch it further and make an affordable and sustainable teaching models a reality in Ukraine!
