Story
As part of our ongoing commitment to make a difference, this year Maxica will be hosting a company social event that doubles as a food drive for the Abingdon Food Bank .
In 2022/23, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network provided 2,986,203 three-day emergency food supplies and support to UK people in crisis. Of these, 1,139,553 were distributed for children.
All donations that are received will go towards purchasing items from Abingdon Food Bank's urgently needed list. To allow time for us to shop for these, the closing date for making donations will be October 2nd, 2023.
We are inviting our colleagues, friends, and supporters to join us in this initiative. Every contribution, no matter the size, will have a direct impact on the lives of individuals and families facing challenging circumstances.
