Story

Since we started our Football For All project over 5 years ago, we have relied on people donating their old football boots to us in order for us to pass on to refugees and asylum seekers to wear during the sessions. As the project has grown in the last few years, we’ve increasingly struggled to meet demand - particularly as our collection of boots grew old and needed replacing. We are now at the point where we can’t promise we have the right boots for everyone, with people wearing the wrong sizes or boots that are falling apart and can no longer be taped up or superglued.

Our crowdfunding is simple - We’ve managed to find football boots for sale at £10 per pair. A donation of £10 buys a pair of new football boots for a refugee or asylun seeker to wear during Football For All sessions.

Asking for monetry help is something we feel quite awkward about doing as we want to be as self-sustaining as possible. However, we are often asked by people who don't live locally or who don't want to play football how they can contribute in a meaningful way. So reluctantly, here we are, asking if you can donate £10 to add a pair of football boots to our kit bag. It'd be ace to see FFA players not have to play old boots and instead have a fresh pair to have a kick about in. £10 would buy something tangible that will make a difference to our weekly football sessions.

Thank You!
