Story
I've had my cat Chewie from a very young age, she is currently just over 2 years old. She's my best friend and got me through the toughest times. Everyone that meets her falls in love with her. ❤️Just recently, Chewie started displaying some odd behaviours and I thought it was time to take her to the local vets. I didn't really think much of it, just maybe off her food? but it quickly became apparent that she was very, very, ill.
After 2 days and 2 nights, first in the local vet and then an emergency vet, it was decided Chewie needed specialist care in an animal hospital which a standard veterinary practice just doesn't have the resources or specialist knowledge to diagnose and treat Chewie.
Firstly, Chewie has anaemia, but more worryingly, she seems to have a problem with her immune system and her cells attacking her. We are trying to find out why.
She is currently undergoing a multitude of tests, many of which are very invasive and costly.
As it stands, even without a firm diagnosis or treatment plan, bills stand at £5000.
This already exceeds her insurance cover and I am doing everything in my power to try and raise the funds so she can get better and try and live a normal and happy a life as possible.
We simply can't do it alone and we don't know where to turn and without treatment, the prognosis for Chewie would be very poor 😿😿😿😿😿
I just want my baby back home and I know she wants to come back home.
Every single penny gifted will go straight towards Chewies treatment without question.
