My sister, Ellena, has a complex and life-threatening condition called Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma which is a rare form of cancer. She has been fighting this cancer since she was 10 years old but her health has been getting progressively worse in the last 6 months. No one should have to go through the harrowing experience of fighting cancer, especially from such a young age.

With the NHS having limited resources and the fact that this is a rare form of cancer, we have been struggling to find suitable treatment options for Ellena. My parents have worked tirelessly throughout the years to find something that would cure her, and we may have finally found something - a form of immunotherapy called dendritic cells therapy.

Unfortunately, the NHS is unable to offer this so we’re having to seek treatment in Germany. Ellena is my best friend and the most kind-hearted wise person you’ll ever meet. She deserves a fighting chance to have a future!
