Hi,

My grandad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in the beginning of 2016. He managed to get treatment funded by the NHS in Poland. They managed to remove the cancer tissue leaving only 0.3% of it which could not be removed.

Earlier this month he found out that the cancer has spread to his spine and his ribs and has gone from 5% cancel cells to about 16% at the moment and continuously rising.

I am trying to raise money to help fund his travel and private doctors which he now has to seek as the NFS (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia which is like NHS in Poland) has no dates for a treatment anytime soon and any time wasted is dangerous.

The treatment will include chemo and some other screenings and he is required to travel around 150km to the clinic which also costs him fuel.

He has not asked me to raise any money and has no idea I am doing this for him but I would greatly appreciate any donations, big or small to help him in this difficult journey to make it a little bit easier so he has one less thing to stress about.

I don't know what the treatment costs are that is why I have put this sum but 100% of whatever is raised will go directly to my grandad with no money being kept.

I am traveling to Poland to visit them for 3 weeks on 15th of December and this will be my opportunity to give him the money collected.
