This is to fund the first of 8 students aged 7-11 on a short trip to a country of their origin. The reason for this is mainly to develop a level of appreciation in children growing up in todays society. It's to give a first hand experience of what life is like in different countries for children their own age. We believe it will create a level of appreciation for what they do have and not to take things for granted.

It's all very well to look online at images and videos of people going through tragedy and poverty, and to develop that sympathetic feeling. But there's nothing more that will give that feeling than personaly witnessing it in real life, up close and in your face.

Not only that, it's to venture out and to learn about their history, to see where their people have come from and where they are today, to inspire and spark the vision of something life changing for the children of tomorrow.
