Story

As a local group of Sewers, Cutters, Stitchers, Dyers, Drivers, Co-ordinators and many more, our group have been supplying the NHS, Healthcare Facilities and Frontline Heroes with Scrubs, Scrub Hats, Wash Bags, Button Headbands and Face Coverings for almost 8 months!! To date, For The Love of Sewing Stamford Lincs/Rutland have supplied over 22,394 garments to our Heroes, including 3298+ sets of scrubs. This number continues to rise weekly.

Formally known as 'For The Love of Scrubs Stamford Lincs/Rutland' our group have evolved, so we thought it was apt to update our name. We are now extendeding our arms wider into the community, to offer our support and help raise money for local and national causes, doing what we can.

Recently we helped the Royal British Legion, Poppy Appeal in Stamford, offering poppy Masks and are currently making Pudsey Face Masks Children In Need. Within our group, we have facilitated various pop-up mask stalls across the counties, raising money for local care homes and care facilities and we continue to hold community pop up stalls, offering our handmade masks to those in need. Our group are also now initiating individual projects for example sewing Syringe Driver Bags and knitting Premature Baby Hats.

If you would like to help us continue our work, please feel free to offer what you can, be it, funding, materials or moral support. We continuously need to purchase fabric and haberdashery items, so what ever you feel you can give really will go such a long way.

Thank you so much for your support and taking the time to read our story. Warmest Wishes, Miriam and all at For The Love of Sewing Stamford, Lincs/Rutland. In association with For The Love of Scrubs. xxx
