- Newcastle upon Tyne
- Funded on Tuesday, 28th June 2022

Story
On February 13th 2022 Thomas Davidson Hetherington took his own life. He was a beautiful, funny, talented and happy 15 year old boy. Sadly he found circumstances with relationships and friendships too difficult to cope with. We love him and will miss him every day. We would like to help prevent other families losing their child this way. We hope to use donations to work with relevant charities to remind young people to be forgiving, fair and kind to one another, and that there are always solutions to their problems and challenges, and they can ask others for help if they are struggling.

I'm Thomas' Dad, and as a family we are completely devastated to have lost our beautiful boy. We feel utterly bereft and helpless. The only one thing I can say for sure is I would never want any parent to have this experience so we're trying to avoid other suicides.
