Story
Carol Fitzsimmons passed away unexpectedly on Friday 23rd June 2023, aged 73 years. In her memory, we would like to support the incredible work of the Sandbach Art Room .
Over the past few years Carol regularly attended their Creative Wellbeing Sessions; it was one of her life’s joys. She discovered a love of crafts and a friendly community that welcomed her each week. Carol found these sessions both supportive and soothing. She often talked about how much she loved this place and the friends she made here.
As a tribute to Carol, we would like to help support the vital work of the Sandbach Art Room so that more people can benefit from their programs.

Sandbach Art Room is run by the non profit Cheshire Arts for Health, and delivers health and wellbeing sessions for adults, young people and children, while promoting self care, peer support and inclusion for all.
Founded by Tracey Mee in 2012, Sandbach Art Room uses all forms of the arts to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the community, including those with mental health issues, long term illness, Dementia and those with learning and physical disabilities - which in turn improves people's lives and that of their carers and family.

Studies have shown that creativity can help alleviate depression, anxiety and stress, and engaging with the arts has been connected with a greater sense of wellbeing. Your donations will help more people connect with the positive impacts of making.
We hope that you'll join us in supporting a place that Carol loved, so that others might benefit as much as we know she did.
Thank you,
Barry, Claire & Chris
