There are over 45000 elderly people living on their own lonely and in isolation in Leeds. For Disability Mobility needs to get them out and meeting people.

8 years agoMany of the people we help live on their own ,which can lead to loneliness and can affect their health and wellbeing, this can also contribute to Dementia. They may also lack family support. This is why it is important to socialise people into the community where they can meet other people and make new friends. FDM are also providing a safe and secure door to door service on our outings. FDM also subsidise their trips for people with lack of disposable income.
