Story
I'm raising £1,000 to help Forever 19 establish, develop and sustain its work supporting young people's mental health.
Forever 19 was founded in memory of our son, Ethan, who tragically lost his life to suicide at the age of 19 after struggling with his mental health.
Our mission is to support the mental health and wellbeing of teenagers and young adults through awareness, education, early intervention and community-led initiatives that encourage people to seek help and know they are never alone.
We believe in complete transparency with everyone who supports us.
Forever 19 is currently a not-for-profit community organisation and is not yet a registered charity. We have submitted an application to the Charity Commission for England and Wales and are currently awaiting their decision.
Donations made through this page will help us establish, develop and sustain Forever 19 while we await charity registration and beyond. Funds will be used to support the responsible growth of the organisation, including governance, safeguarding, insurance, volunteer support, awareness campaigns, educational resources, community events, fundraising activities, digital services, and other reasonable operational costs directly connected to delivering our mission.
We are committed to using every donation responsibly. No trustee receives any profit from the organisation, and all funds are reinvested into Forever 19 to help us achieve our objectives. Any legitimate trustee expenses will only be reimbursed where appropriate and in accordance with our governing documents and applicable law.
As our organisation grows, we will continue to keep our supporters informed about our progress, including updates on our Charity Commission application and the work their generosity is helping us achieve.
Forever 19 exists because we never want another family to experience the heartbreak that ours has endured. While we cannot change what happened to Ethan, we can work to create a future where more young people receive the support they need before they reach crisis point.
Thank you for helping us honour Ethan's memory and build a lasting legacy that gives hope to others.
