Story

Agility against Cancer (AAC) is a charity that has done so much to help members of our agility community, as our ‘core runners’ and many many of us within the agilily world may have seen first hand. It’s for this reason that we decided to use the Kennel Club Agility Festival 2018 as a way of raising more money so AAC can help as many people as possible.

This is when we came up with the concept of #Foreverunning. On the Friday of the KC festival, at least one of our core runners (Ryan Hennessy, Neil Ellis, Jennifer Machon and David Tucker) will be running at all times throughout the day, from when the agility day kicks off to when the last ring finishes running. It‘s sure to be a long tiring day, but we’re hoping to raise as much money as possible!

On top of donations for our day spent running, we‘re also hoping that on the day as many people as possible will donate some money and come and run a lap with us or a group of friends! Every penny of course counts, so there’s no minimum donation if you want to come and do some running, but with all donations above £5 you‘ll get your own Agility against Cancer wristband too!

As we all know cancer is an awful disease that has affected so many people close to our hearts. However the way our close friends and family have so bravely fought the disease is inspiring beyond words. The agility community is a truly special thing and can be so supportive when people are going through difficult times, and this is why we wanted to do something to help other people going through a struggle themselves. Please support #Foreverrunning!
