Story

I am running my very first marathon to raise money for Jasmine's rehabilitation. This little lady is 11 month old and she is a daughter of my beloved friends. You can read her story below:

My name is Jasmine Grzesnik and I was born on the 25th of May 2017 in 32nd week of pregnancy. I was only 17 inches and 3 and a half pounds. In the 29th week my twin sister died which cause a lot of complications to my little brain that got infected. I was born with bilateral renal failure, sepsis, hole in the heart, widened brain chambers and periocular leukomalacia. Sounds like a lot for someone so little but I have not given up since day one and after two long months spent in the hospital since I was born and not much hope given to my parents that I will survive I finally was well enough to go home. Unfortunately, what happened to my little brain can have irreversible effects that’s why the rehabilitation is crucial to help me to become independent. My needs are great and as I am growing they are becoming ever bigger. There is a long way ahead of me and I know that this is only the beginning however I am prepared for the hard work. I’m ready to face any challenge being supported by my family and wonderful people who wants to help me!

Thank you for your donation! 😊
