As most of Anna and Jasper's friends will know by now, Jasper was recently diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. He is currently hospitalised in Oz, undergoing an initial 30-35 days of treatment. Unlike the UK, there is not the NHS to fall back on readily and the family is facing a double hit of medical bills on one side and loss of earnings on the other.

As we've seen from the daily blog, Jasper and Anna are approaching this positively, but it would make like so much easier if we could rally and try to alleviate some of the financial concerns they are facing.

Many of us will have directly benefitted from Jaspers talents, be it through his fantastic guitar tutoring, having the opportunity to listen to him play, or through the wonderful work Anna has done as a midwife and first responder volunteer.

It's time to give back. If we can each just come forward with the equivalent of one lesson with Jasper, we can make a difference. If each pays £1 for every day he will be in hospital we can help.
