This page is for Laura my incredible partner who left us too soon after taking her own life.

She was my everything and the beauty, intelligence, warmth, love, humour and talent she brought to this world will never be replaced or forgotten.

Over the next year i will be looking to raise funds in memory of her through events involving music, sport, art and anything and everything in between whilst trying to increase awareness around mental health, bereavement and suicide and the effects they have in current society.

The funds raised will be aimed at creating grass roots support for these issues in the local community as well as other charitable areas that Laura had an interest in. I aim to do this by either setting up a charity base in her name or providing funding to some of the smaller organisations that are doing a lot of incredible work in this area but are not usually given the spotlight they deserve.

Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated and any advice, ideas or events that people have that they would like to do in support would be welcome.

The first event in the diary is the Lanzarote marathon in December which i will be running as well as the half the same day being run by our friends Paul and Oli. I'll look to list the further events as and when they are arranged.
