I've raised £400 to raise money for a wonderful selfless lady in kephalonia who takes in stray dogs and tries to rehome them. Our injured pup being one of them

Back in May on the 2nd day of our holiday in Kephalonia we stumbled across an injured pup. To cut a long story short we took him to a vets who told us the dog had had a corrosive substance such as acid thrown on him. He was also malnourished and in need of lots of treatment. We planned to fly him to the UK to provide him with a forever home. Before this could happen Lucky needed to be fostered. A lady called Lynda offered to step in and foster him. She has, over the past 20 years, taken in lots of strays. She doesn't get paid for this and uses her pension to feed the animals. I've never met a more caring selfless person. Over the last 2 months she's been treating his wounds with antiseptic washes, massaging cream into his skin and building up his food intake by giving him a high protein diet. As if this wasn't enough she brought him over to our holiday resort so we could see him then she brought him to the airport as a surprise so we could see him again before he came to live with us. On 9th July Lucky came to the UK, over land taking 3 days. He is such a fabulous boy. Much bigger than when we last saw him but just as loving. Without Lynda this story wouldn't have had such a happy ending. This lady is one in a million. She will continue taking in strays without any payment from any charity. Dale and I just want to try to raise some money to give something back. Any donation, however small would be much appreciated.
