Story

On the 19th May, after months of excitement and anticipation, our son Morgan was born asleep, 2 days after his due date.

Sadly stillbirth is more common than we ever realised with 1 in 200 pregnancies ending this way - 17 families are going through this heartbreak every day in the UK.

The time spent in hospital learning that Morgan had passed away and then having him were the darkest hours of our lives, made only brighter by the support and compassion shown to us by the team of midwifes looking after us.

The way they cared for us, not only whilst I was in labour but also once Morgan had arrived will be something we will remember forever and in memory of our beautiful little Morgan, we want to try and raise money to ensure those amazing midwifes can continue to try and help other families like us at such a difficult time.

The money we raise will go towards the maternity bereavement services provided by the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton - things like memory boxes, cold cots and counselling, all of which make the sadness just that little bit more bearable.

If you are able to donate anything at all, we would really appreciate it and we're sure the families that we end up helping will too.

Thank you xx
