The draw was made by Barbara Hodges - our first prize raffle winner. Thank you to Alan Drake for his efforts organising this fantastic prize at a great Essex golf course.
UPDATE: Saturday 21st September - The 3 x fantastic autographed photos of Bolt, Messi & the rare Gallagher Brothers photo were kindly donated by Dave Knight - these alone netted a £620 contribution - thank you once again Dave for your very generous support.
DARTS UPDATE: 'The Grocer' took on 10 challenges on the night - he remained undefeated - a couple of legs were lost but a great performance by Steve - £100 extra donated as a result. The darts & pool set up at Moretown Belle was perfect for 'The Grocer' and I - a big thank you to all the challengers on the oche & the baize...and also to David Evans for providing the facilities free of charge.
POOL UPDATE: Due to the additional Auction role on the night for Chappers, only 7 challengers had the chance to take him on - Chappers also remained undefeated with the challengers putting an additional £70 in the pot. Not very well communicated by me, and apologies on my behalf, but there were 2 prizes up for grabs for the Best Pool Challengers, which I had the final say on & in the end had to be based on who came closest to defeating me. The best pool challenger on the night and 1st Prize of a Ronnie O'Sullivan signed cue & a RTD Hand made RED TROUSERS trophy goes to Bond Jordan - well done to Bond - he played well and took a frame off me. The 2nd place spot goes to Sam Jordan, who also pinched a frame - he will receive a Ronnie O'Sullivan signed autobiography. Well done to Bond & Sam.
UPDATE: Friday 20th September - too shattered to do anything - another great night with some very kind, generous and fun people - a big thank you to all that played a part in a great adventure and also to everyone who learnt something new or refreshed their memories about Daisy Palmer and Red Trouser Day.

EVENT DETAILS:
Please join me on Thursday 19th September 2019 at the fantastic Moretown Belle bar near St Katherine’s Dock for a fundraising evening in support of Red Trouser Day (The Royal Marsden Hospital) & the Daisy Palmer Trust - all funds raised will be split equally between the two worthy causes.
I recently passed the 3rd year in remission anniversary following a successful recovery from a Bowel Cancer diagnosis in Feb '16. I still continue to be monitored by Professor Tekkis & Dr Tait & their teams at The Royal Marsden Hospital on a regular basis and I am truly grateful for all their amazing work, hence Thursday's fundraiser.
Both causes mean a lot to my friends, family and I and we’ll be very grateful once again for any support and donations. Please take some time to read Daisy's amazing story - Instagram @daisypalmertrus (No "T") or facebook - and the great work that Paul Finch and his Red Trouser Day team - https://redtrouserday.com/ - have been doing to help bowel cancer research and past and present patients, like myself.
ONLY £10 Entry - includes a drinks voucher (beer or wine), a £5 raffle entry and bar food (kindly provided by the venue’s proprietor Mr Evans & his team).
POOL CHALLENGE: For those of you who know me, I still like a game of pool now and then, so I will be returning to the table at the MoreTown Belle hustling as much as I can for both worthy causes between 5:30pm & 11:30pm - if you want to take me on, please contact me ASAP as this is a popular challenge and will be on a first come first served basis - £10 for a best of 3 which goes into the fundraising pot - if you win, I’ll pay you £10 from my own pocket & pay the £10 to the fundraising pot too
DARTS CHALLENGE: My good friend The Grocer, will also be in action on the darts board - 501 - Best of 3 - loser pays £10 to the charity - Steve will be playing at 20 minute intervals from 6pm
Hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you in support of these very worthy causes.
One final thank you to Moretown Belle for kindly allowing the use of their venue free of charge for our fundraiser evening and for providing food on the evening.
