On 15th October 2017 a team of parents and staff will be running the 13.1 miles of the Great West Run to raise funds for FOSS. Everything we raise goes towards enhancing our children’s educational experiences and opportunities at school.
Over the last 12 months we’ve contributed towards a brand new climbing and activity Trim Trail for all the children to use in the playground. We’ve assisted the school in providing termly trips for each class, bought picnic benches, hired instruments for music lessons and provided a visit from the Explorer Dome to name just a few!
With all schools facing reductions to their core funding it’s more important than ever that the school community support FOSS’s fundraising efforts. Over the coming year the school would particularly like to develop its outdoor spaces including the creation of a storage facility on the field for their outdoor learning lessons. All the money raised by the FOSS Flyers will contribute towards this and FOSS’s ongoing support of the school.
