One of my best friend's of 25 years (wow I feel old!) Freya has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and with a 7 year treatment plan ahead of her, I want to try and raise money to help support Freya and her beautiful daughter Amaia through this journey.

Ordinarily I would jump on a plane to Spain and support her directly, but frustratingly I can’t do that (cheers Covid!). So in an effort to help her from afar, I’ve decided to do what I do best and grab my camera and set myself a challenge which will hopefully raise the funds she needs, but also give you all a photographic record of these unique, if not so enjoyable times!

ZOE’S DOORSTEP PHOTOSHOOT MARATHON

26 shoots, in 26hrs for £2,600!

Anyone who knows me knows I couldn’t run a 26mile marathon if I tried! So instead, I’m attempting to turn those 26 miles into 26 Doorstep photoshoots within 26 hours, in the hope of raising (at least!) £2600. This may not sound a lot, but rest assured this will be a big challenge for me… from 7am-8pm on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November I plan to drive around North London and get snapping, aiming to do one shoot every 30 minutes!

SO HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

All I ask is for is a minimum donation of £26 (obviously anything more would be greatly appreciated!) and in return you will receive a handful of professionally edited digital family photos. YOU MUST BE FREE NEXT WEEKEND!

Freya has unfortunately had to leave her job due to the aggressive chemotherapy treatment plan she is facing for the next 6 months, along with having to homeschool her daughter Amaia (She has had to be removed due to Covid and bringing any germs back into the house etc…) so any funds raised will help towards the basics needs of running a household and other costs involved with her Cancer treatment and her care.
