    Story

2018 will see members of Four:12 - the Youth and Young Adults Group of the Annunciation Parish in Burnt Oak - take part in the Westminster Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage as volunteers for the very first time.

Four teenage members of Four:12, plus their Group Leader, are giving up a week of their summer holiday to travel to Lourdes and join the 'Redcaps' - volunteers aged 16 and over who assist the sick and elderly of the diocese during the annual pilgrimage.

Throughout the week in Lourdes, the Redcaps undertake a variety of duties, including socialising with the sick/elderly, helping assisted pilgrims by pushing them in wheelchairs, taking part in the various diocesan liturgies and supporting the Lourdes authorities during processions. The Four:12 members will also have the opportunity to meet and spend time in conversation and prayer with young people from all over the diocese during sessions organised by the Diocesan Youth Ministry.

If you are able to support us - with your prayers, a donation or a message of good will - we would be most grateful.

    Thank you!
