Story

In 2014, Paul and I met at Imire. It is wonderful place run by an incredible family whose lives revolve around protecting the animals they love.

Our experience there gave us so much and it's now time to give back so we have set ourselves the challenge of completing the Argus Cycle Tour 2019. For those that aren't familiar with it is it 109kms of Cape Town's longest, steepest, highest hills and the only way we will get through it (and the gruelling months of training beforehand) is by focusing on how much we can help a charity so dear to our hearts.

In 2007 a poaching incident on the farm left 3 black rhinos plus an unborn calf dead and entire breeding generation was lost overnight. Imire has done a truly inspiring job rebuilding both the community and their family of rhinos after this tragic incident and, amongst the many worthwhile projects they have is one that involves raising money to sponsor Murwi.

Murwi is a UK trained anti-poaching dog who will be an invaluable addition to their team as they all continue to strive to protect some of our worlds most endangered animals. Safe to say this project struck a chord with the canine-loving duo that we are and we would be so grateful for any donations you can make to help our four legs and four wheels do the best it can to help their new four legs.

If you'd like to find out more head to their website www.imire.co.zw or feel free to send us an email at mila88@hotmail.co.uk. We have also set up a blog where you can track our progress/share our pain and/or laugh at our generally pathetic attempts to get in shape. It can be found at: four legs, four wheels, for Africa

Thank you all so much in advance

Love,

Mila & Paul
