I've raised £10000 to donate to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

In support of Foxtons friend and ex-colleague, James Clarke, who is bravely battling Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Foxtons is raising money for James’ chosen charity My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, set up by Scottish Rugby legend Doddie Weir.
We hugely appreciate all donations so far, to help James in his courageous fight to raise as much money as possible to help change the path that future diagnosed patients have to travel.
We find James’s fighting spirit so inspiring, we decided to match it with some of our own. We partnered with Manor gym who on 25th May set 80 of Foxtons fiercest competitors a gruelling 4 hour physical and mental workout to raise money! The challenge included assault bikes, curved runners, ski-erg, bike-erg, rowing, running yard laps, extreme sandbag weights, spontaneous burpees and other punishments!
Those taking part were pushed to their limits, and every single participant worked incredibly collaboratively to make it to the finish line. We set ourselves a big target to hit of £10,000, and the more we raised, we were promised, the tougher the challenge will be. We're extremely grateful for all of the support so far to help us smash through our initial target, and to Manor gym for hosting us!
James Clarke worked at Foxtons for almost 16 years, and he has had an immeasurable impact on the people he worked with here. He continues to be a close friend to many of us.
MND is a desperately cruel disease that quickly destroys the nervous system. It weakens muscles, leading to paralysis, and significantly shortens life expectancy. There is currently no cure for MND, but through fundraising, James is working tirelessly to change this. James has been relentlessly fundraising for this foundation since his MND diagnosis in December 2021, raising in excess of an incredible £500k so far…let’s show him any support we can.
