Story

Hi all,

This summer I am fortunate enough to be involved in Royal Family Kids Camp UK. This is a weeklong summer camp specially created for children aged 6-12, who are in the foster care system having suffered abuse and/or trauma. This week away is run entirely by volunteers who help bring the fun, and excitment back into childrens lives whilst creating positive, lifelong memories. In order for this to happen, it takes a lot of planning, dedicated teams and money - to send just one child to camp costs £300 and it's my job as a volunteer to help raise funds for this project and make sure that this fantastic oppertunity is available for children in foster care.

Fostering children in care has always been very important to me and my family whilst growing up and seeing the challenges that many children face at such a young age is devastating - I truly believe that whilst many of their birthdays and happy childhood experiences are missed, this oppertunity will ensure not only a week that brings fun and happiness back into their lives but lifelong memories for these children.

So if anybody would be so kind to contribute even the smallest of donations to help me raise money for this cause, both I and the RFK team would be very grateful.

Thanks x
